Next Crisis Response Volunteer Training Program begins: March, 2019
Volunteers are the backbone of North Simcoe Victim Services (NSVS); and we simply could not do, what we do, without them. NSVS volunteers receive training to assist with requirements needed for the role, learn skill sets that can be carried into other jobs, meet interesting people, and reap the rewards of knowing they have made a powerful impact in their community.
NSVS is looking for individuals who can provide support and understanding to victims in need. Ideal candidates are dependable people who can respond swiftly, without judgment, have excellent communication and listening skills, and can respect the oath of confidentiality they take.
